Bohor is about granular sound texture, hence in creating the visual representation of the score, I sought to find video textures synthesized from the sound atoms of the piece. Bohor is also about the geometric relationships between the sound channels -- likewise, the video treatment creates complex geometric relationships between the microscopic elements of each track as well as the macroscopic connections between the tracks as a whole. The structure of the tracks is derived from the analysis of the sound spectrum of the audio channels, while their relative video mixing is determined by the amplitude of each channel in the audio mix. The changes in average percieved pitch guide the algorithm through choices of color and hue.
