Columbia New Music Guest Lecture by Composer Jefferson Friedman

Jefferson is a 1996 graduate of Columbia College, and went on to study at Julliard with John Corigliano.  He was the 2004 winner of he prestigious Rome Prize in music composition, and he has had pieces played by the New York Philharmonic and the National Symphony Orchestra, among other ensembles.  Jefferson will be talking about his own music as well as his career in music.  As always, there will be tasty free food!
