Aaron A. Fox

Aaron Fox is an Associate Professor of Music and the Director of the Center for Ethnomusicology. He holds a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Texas at Austin. He is the author of Real Country: Music, Language, and Feeling in Texas Working Class Culture (Duke University Press, 2004). His current projects involve working with native communiteis to repatriate the rights of Navajo and Iñupiat music in the Laura Boulton Archive of Traditional Music.
